For someone who cannot even get her own dog into a dog house, it is a stretch to believe some dog owners have created or bought these amazing dog houses for their pets. Dog house is not really a fitting term. These are more like dog mansions.
The classic dog house, if you will recall from The Peanuts, was a basic red, four sided structure with a top where Snoopy would spend endless hours sleeping or typing.
Today, dogs do not even realize how spoiled they are. Some of the dog houses you are about to see come complete with central air, curtains, beds, and some even have Internet access.
Think you spoil your dog? You are about to see what spoiled really means.
Tradition Style Dog House
In this case, the term Tradition Style is referring to the style of the house. That is, the owner’s house, which their dog now owns in miniature. The lucky dog that gets to call this place home can relax his paws on the bone shaped rug inside or relax by the bone shaped pool out back.
Cubix Modern Dog Home
This dog home even has a name, Cubix. Designed by a company named Best Friend’s Home, this very modern dog house is more like a work of modern art. The rectangular windows are on uneven planes while the overall look remains balanced and welcoming.
Hacienda Dog House
A take on a traditional Mexican Hacienda style home, this dog house, or dog mansion, is worth around $30,000. This mansion was designed by La Petite, as a custom order for actress Rachel Hunter and is a scaled down version of her own home. This hacienda even has terra cotta floors and clay tile roofing.
Celebrity Brick Dog House - Alan Mowrer
For the elegant and classy dogs, here is the Alan Mowrer designed brick dog house. This dog mansion is worth $25,000, and boasts air conditioning, heat, running water, and electricity. What more could a dog ask for? Well, they might ask for a nice flat roof like Snoopy had, but what do they know? Electricity is much more important to dogs!
Paris Hilton’s Doggie Mansion
Who else but Paris? Tinkerbell and buddies (all 18 of them) spend lots of time in this two story doggie mansion. The 300 sq ft abode was modeled after Paris’s first mansion and is compete with clay tile roofing, copper gutters, air conditioning, and a crystal chandelier in the bedroom. It must be good to be the queen.
