It’s an all too common fear: your dog is begging to follow you, wanting to experience the open road, the rush of air and endless miles; and all you can imagine instead is the
horror of those miles, the constant ‘What If?’.
What if there is an accident? What if your pet isn’t secure? What if... The questions blur and terrify.
Now, perhaps, they won’t have to.
Luxury line BMW is introducing a new product to help ease your concerns: the world’s first dog-only seat belt. Some may argue that other such products already exist; but BMW has taken the concept to revolutionary heights, being the only automotive manufacturer to offer it as a standard. This approach couples ever-needed security with always-wanted style.
No longer lament the lack of protection, peeking constantly into the mirror, wondering always whether your pet is safe. Instead you can now indulge in the joys of travel without sacrificing your peace of mind. And, with the belts able to support a wide range of breeds (between 15 to 88 pounds), there is no doubt that owners will be satisfied.
It must be noted, however, that this option will not be available in the United States on its arrival. November 5th 2010 will see it launched instead in Japan. Should it prove successful there--as it is expected--then a worldwide campaign should occur.
